Courtrooms may be empty across the US, but in England trials have resumed, and they are in the middle of a big one – Johnny Depp vs. The Sun. In 2018, the British tabloid published an article about Depp which described him as a “wife-beater,” referring to allegations from Depp’s ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, that Depp was frequently violent with her when he was impaired by drugs and alcohol. Johnny Depp denies those claims so he is suing the paper for damages. Court TV’s Grace Wong has been tracking the case and has all of the details.
