CO v. NELSON (2008)

One cold, dark winter evening, a Colorado woman is murdered in a parking lot as she leaves her job at a local credit union – gunned down in a shooting that can only be described as an execution in its preciseness and lack of mercy. Was the shadowy figure that did the shooting a woman involved in a lengthy extramarital affair with the victim’s husband? Or is the defendant, Shawna Nelson, completely innocent, as she claims – perhaps even the victim of someone else who wanted to frame her for the killing? During the trial we’ll hear from the defendant’s married boyfriend (and victim’s husband), the defendant's husband, the (alleged) lesbian lover and the defendant herself.
