CA v. SIMPSON: WEEK 20

Two jurors are dismissed for what Judge Ito says was "good cause" and two new jurors are seated, both black females. Dr. Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran, the LA County Chief Medical Examiner takes the stand. The jury and 2 court spectators were allowed to see the autopsy photos. Dr. Sathyavagiswaran also testifies that Nicole may have been ambushed, judging by the three neck stab wounds and cuts and abrasions on both of her hands. This graphic testimony causes Carmelita Simpson, Kim Goldman and many jurors to cry openly in court. One juror abruptly leaves at one point, bringing that day's proceedings quickly to an end.
