Just months after Court TV made history with their cameras televising The Death of George Floyd Murder Trial, we’re back in that same courtroom for the trial of another police officer — 26-year veteran Kim Potter — who is facing manslaughter charges for the death of Daunte Wright. Will prosecutors be able to convince the jury Potter was criminally responsible for Wright’s death when she mistakenly fired her gun rather than her taser? Or will her defense team be able to show that not matter which weapon she used, she was within her rights to do so?
